If you still can not connect to the internet, do as follows:

1. open your computer’s network preferences, and make sure that you have just the follow three connection types:


if you have more than three about it, just remove it by click minus(-) button (this image is just show about airport type, if you are in ethernet type, do as your normal setting),remove it and apply your change by click [Apply] button.

2. then quit your pppoe client app, and reopen it again, try as the help manual docs.
